Ghost Guns are the Solution to Restrictive Gun Control

America was struck this week with a hail storm of tragedy. This week there were three mass shootings- one in El Paso Texas, one in Dayton Ohio, and one in Gilroy California. The gunmen in these various crimes murdered, in all, at least 32 from the time of writing. So far in 2019 alone, there have been at least 17 deadly mass shootings in America. These bi-monthly cataclysms make America a unique figure amongst first world countries in the most shameful way possible. Among nations with gun control, America tops the list in the category of number mass shootings.

These murders and their following heartaches motivate people to enact restrictive gun legislation in the name of public safety. But this is not the answer. What is less obvious is the way we ought to combat restrictive gun control. The answer lies in the kryptonite to all gun regulation, Cody Wilson’s Ghost Gun

Democrats Desperate to Keep Freitas Off Virginia Ballots

The despotic blue electorate of Virginia is grinning from ear to ear this week.

After a heated back and forth that lasted throughout much of the summer, it appears that incumbent House of Delegates Rep. Nick Freitas will not feature on the 30th District ballots of Virginia this November. A report in this week’s Washington Post suggests that Democrat-appointed state officials have denied a request to put the two-time Virginia delegate on the ballot.

Did Ex Obama Officials Violate the Logan Act?

The Federal statutes known as the Logan Act have been a hot topic in the mainstream news, with many figures accusing each other of committing felonious acts. Recently, Lt. General Michael Flynn was accused by many for urging the Russian government not to retaliate against American sanctions; at a White House press availability, President Trump claimed that “John Kerry violated the Logan Act. He’s talking to Iran and has had many meetings and many phone calls and he’s telling them what to do. That is total violation of the Logan Act.”

Is College a Gilded Cage?

We’ve heard it all before. The mountainous debt, constant partying, and falling academic quality offered by many universities across the nation have begun to call the value of an undergraduate degree into question. Yet, more and more students head into college. Why are we, the nation’s youth, so prepared to cast ourselves into tens of thousands of dollars in debt for an increasingly devalued, but increasingly expensive, piece of paper? The answer is one part psychological and one part cultural – but all parts social.
