Is Iran Being Baited by Another British Vessel?

James Sweet III | @jsweetIII

At approximately 11:14 PM on Thursday, a British flagged vessel, the Atlantic Pioneer, entered Iranian territorial waters. Shortly before the ship entered Iranian claimed waters, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued a tweet condemning the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s Navy for its actions in the Strait of Hormuz. Just one year ago, he withdrew from the deal entirely. Since then, he has declared Iran’s Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization and placed sanctions on the nation. His hardline stance has some calling the country “Trump’s Iraq“, believing an unjust war is imminent. Now, the military appears to be taking action towards war with Iran.
