NYC to Implement Ban on CBD Edibles

Lobbyists in the Department of Health for New York City are pushing for a change to the existing laws pertaining to cannabidiol-laced substances. The law proposed earlier in February would bar any restaurants or food retailers from selling CBD-laced substances. These laws deem CBD-laced substances unsafe for the citizens of NYC.

CBD is Helping Texans, But the State Wants to Take it Away

In 2015, Texas passed the Compassionate Use Act, which allowed for the limited sale of CBD products for medical uses. CBD is a product of marijuana, and while it does not have the same psychoactive properties of THC, is has been used effectively in treating pain and epilepsy.
