Former Governor of Massachusetts Bill Weld announced today he is running for president against Donald Trump, hoping to secure the Republican nomination.
Vice President Mike Pence is an evil man. He hates gay people. Pence cannot fathom that two consenting adults who love each other should be left alone. He wants to force conversion therapy upon innocent gay children. Just when you thought he couldn’t get any worse, we examine Mike Pence’s opinions towards women. He clearly hates them too. He sees A Handmaid’s Tell as the gold standard, not a dystopia. He won’t even be alone with women who aren’t his wife! This is obviously a man who hates gays, women, and probably minorities. After all, he likes President Trump.
This is the usual opinion held concerning Mike Pence of those who consider themselves Democrats. We are seeing Mayor Pete Buttigieg claim that, because he is gay, Mike Pence hates him and wants to take his rights away.
U.S. Senator and popular 2020 Democratic Nominee for President Bernie Sanders reopened the previously sealed can of worms: Medicare for all. On Wednesday, Sanders disclosed his plans to present Congress with a new and improved version of a highly controversial bill.
The general election is still over a year away. We can’t trust presidential polls too much, especially if they’re within the margin of error. However, one candidate is not within the margin of error. Joe Biden is blowing Trump away. He has the moderate, blue-collar appeal that could win back the Rust Belt and give the suburban women uncomfortable with Trump a home in the Democratic Party. Every Democratic candidate will lose to Trump except for Biden, who would win in a blowout.

Last week, Georgia lawmakers passed a bill that bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. Dubbed the “heartbeat bill,” the legislation would make abortions illegal if the fetus has a heartbeat. The proposal will remain on Governor Brian Kemp’s desk until May 12. The Georgia governor had previously stated that he would sign the “heartbeat bill” into law. However, numerous celebrities and activists are pressuring him to veto the legislation. Many of Hollywood’s elite petitioned to end their work in the state should the abortion restriction become law.
