New Florida Constitutional Carry Bill Introduced

A Florida Constitutional Carry Bill has officially been introduced to the State House of Representatives, by State Representative Anthony Sabatini. At precisely 3:19 PM on October 1st, 2019 Sabatini filed HB 273 for Florida’s 2020 session. The 22-page bill wouldThe Florida Constitutional Carry Bill, upon successful passage, would make Florida the 17th Constitutional Carry State. 

HB 273 not only recognizes Floridan’s right to Constitutional Carry but also includes that non-residents are subject to the same laws and restrictions (or lack thereof) as residents. Notably, the bill also recognizes all other valid carry permits issued by other states, under the full faith and credit clause.
