There Is No “Gay Gene”, Heavily Biased Study Confirms

The New York Times reports that a study released in the journal Science that finds there is no “gay gene”.

The influence comes not from one gene but many, each with a tiny effect — and the rest of the explanation includes social or environmental factors — making it impossible to use genes to predict someone’s sexuality.

However, thanks to the miracle of 3D printing, gun control is dead in the water. The most recent blow to gun control via 3D printing takes the form of a 30 round Glock magazine made completely out of plastic.

If You Want to Save the Amazon Rainforest, Privatize It

The Amazon rainforest is one of the most beautiful and essential natural features on our planet. Yet, it is now in great danger as fires, raging for many weeks, threaten the “lungs” of Earth. We should be worried about the Amazon rainforest. But calls for the government to act are not the answer. If they give up ownership and privatize it, governments will provide the best way for the Amazon and other threatened natural resources to be saved. By doing so, they will introduce a beneficial profit motive.

Boris Johnson and Britain on the Brink

The dramatic events in Britain continued to unfold last night as the House of Commons voted to enable a delay on Boris Johnson and his plans for a hard Brexit until after Oct. 31. Johnson’s leadership has faced four straight defeats and the erosion of its parliamentary majority in the span of 48 hours.

The Bill from Labour’s Hillary Benn requires that Johnson ask for an extension to Article 50. If Parliament does not explicitly approve either a deal or no deal. The bill passed through the House of Commons after an emergency debate held by Speaker John Bercow on Tuesday night. 

Parliament then voted on against triggering a snap election in a further Government defeat.
