Why I Support Tulsi Gabbard as a Libertarian

Mason Mohon | @mohonofficial

I’m not a voting man. I think that voting is ultimately ineffectual and a massive waste of time. Go plug in your support for a candidate and expect change. Even though Russia rigged it. Or Ted Cruz rigged it, whatever the story is this time. Voting is a joke, so I don’t really support anyone politically that way. Rather, I prefer to support through the most pragmatic means possible. How is this person going to shift the political discourse? How is the candidate I’m supporting going to re-shape politics? Answering these questions leads me to support Tulsi Gabbard as the ideal 2020 candidate, even as a libertarian.

Kamala Harris is Just a Modern-Day Slave Driver

Mason Mohon | @mohonofficial

I’m pretty cynical about politics. I’m cynical to the point where I don’t care who will win or lose because to me, it’s all theater. Watching the democratic debates, I realize that there is no debating happening. Gabbard is just one of four Democratic co-sponsors to the bill, while there are 80 Republican co-sponsors.

Tulsi Gabbard and Her Right-wing Supporters

Ellie McFarland | @El_FarAwayLand

On the first day of the Democratic debates, candidate Tulsi Gabbard surprised the nation with her graceful and consistent speaking. On a roster of 25 other Democratic nominees, the competition buried her. Candidates like Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Joe Biden stole the spotlight. But after the debates, Twitter, Facebook, and 4/8Chan were alight with the name “Tulsi”. In fact, she was the most searched candidate on the night of her debate. But what was really striking was the way those on the American political right jumped to support Gabbard.

Gabbard Shows that the American People are Fed Up with War

Benjamin Olsen | @benpleasestop

Last night during the Democratic National Debate, dark horse candidate Tulsi Gabbard showed that she is a force to be reckoned with. Her veteran status and anti-war stance resonate with many disenfranchised Americans. After decades of war in the Middle East, the American people are fed up with endless war. Post-debate, Gabbard takes the lead for searches among Democratic candidates:
